• Revitalized the component with modern standards:
  • Updated Node.js engine requirement to 24.x (from 18.x)
  • Updated core dependencies to latest versions:
    • mongodb: 3.5.9 -> 7.6.0 (Unified driver supporting MongoDB 4.0+)
    • uuid: 8.2.0 -> 11.1.1
    • elasticio-sailor-nodejs: 2.7.1 -> 2.7.9
  • Removed legacy elasticio-node dependency and transitioned to local utilities
  • Added ObjectId support to Delete By Unique Criteria action

    • Direct ID actions (Lookup By ID, Delete By ID, Upsert By ID) now accept both raw 24-character hexadecimal strings and ObjectId('...') template wrappers
    • Criteria actions now support multiple ObjectIds, nested filter operators ($eq, $in, $or, $and), and double-quote syntax
    • Extended ObjectId template conversion to Aggregate pipelines and Bulk Write operations
  • Potentially breaking change: Simplified Credentials by removing the manual mongoVersion selection (now automatically handled by unified driver)

1.6.0 (November 30, 2023)

• Added support for MongoDB latest versions (incl. 7.0) updating MongoDB Node.js driver to the latest version (6.2.0)
  • Nothing has been changed for the old MongoDB versions (4.4 and older). MongoDB version can be chosen in the credentials
  • Due to changes made in both MongoDB and its Node.JS driver certain things might have changed. Like output format of data (metadata) emitted by some actions.
  • A couple of options that have been removed in MongoDB 5.0+ but still are available for older versions:
    • keepAlive
    • useNewUrlParser and useUnifiedTopology
